The Swanage Steam Gala weekend was held on 10th and 11th September 2005 - and saw 5 locomotives in steam including the first public outing of a gleaming newly restored GWR 0-6-2 6695 and the last working of ex GWR No.813 before its return to the Severn Valley Railway.
