The frontal system develops
Thursday 15th October 1987
The storm is now developing, twisting around to create the deep centre of the depression
Friday 16th October 1987
The eye of the intense depression can now be clearly seen as it passes over the south of the UK. The strongest winds are in the south east quadrant - along the northern coast of the English Channel and across the counties of Hampshire, Sussex and Kent.
Saturday 17th October 1987
The storm departs - the depression fills over Scandinavia
